
On 11th of September Street Football friendly match was organised in La laguna, Tenerife. This match was unique for its kind because of its good purpose. Unlike other traditional footbal matches the main values of this game were respect, inclusion, friendship and promotion of healthy lifestile amoung young people.
This event happened due to the mutual efforts of Creativa Asociacion (Spain), Siamo Street (Denmark), InMotion Armenia which was funded by Erasmus+ programme.
Street Football Friendly match was played in local public football field in La Laguna where residents of Africa and Eurasia took part in. Teams were mixed between people from Morocco, Nigeria, Mali, Senegal, Mauritania, Algeria that are currently staying at refugee camp Las Raices (La Laguna) and Erasmus+ participants from Spain, Armenia and Denmark.
Event happened to help young people to understand that cooperation and supportive spirit leads to better social outcomes than competition.
Football match brought a lot of different people together regardless of their backgrounds and physical abilities. Players who were playing football for the first time in their lifes felt equaly involved and entertained the same as the ones who play football on regular basis.
As a conclusión organisers saw the urge of implementing same type of sport activities in the future. Sport is a unique international language which can help to communicate and share values to the young people all over the world.
